Key Features:

• Comply with the requirements of Finnish civil defence norms.
• The standard door leaf is made of a single plate 20 or 30 mm thick; other options are available for customised doors.
• Standard sizes 900×2000 mm & 1200×2000 mm, optionally can be designed to the customer’s requested dimensions.
• The door is designed to withstand a 200 kN/m2 (2 bar) blast wave pressure load according to Finnish shelter norms.
• The hinges and bolt mechanism are able to withstand recoil forces.
• The door is equipped with shock supports that make the door resistant to shock loads up to 30 g.
• The door is gas-tight when closed to prevent harmful gases from entering the civil defence shelter, and the shelter can be overpressurised.
• Optional protection from splinters with the SO-1S model, which has a door panel at least 30 mm thick instead of 20 mm in the standard model SO-1.
• The standard door frame is manufactured to be cast in 300 mm-thick concrete walls, but can be customised for thicker walls.
