Blast, Ballistic & Forced Entry Louvers
Our louvers designed and tested according to project’s force protection requirements and can provide protection from blast, ballistic and forced entry threats for various types of equipment placed outside or inside structures. Commonly air handling units and other equipment placed on roofs or outside the protected areas require protection in case of attack or emergency like blast, explosion, bullets and fragments hit, crimes activity and more.

Blast Resistant Louvers
The blast-resistant louvers are manufactured from customized galvanized steel or stainless-steel profiles which combine special design features allow to maintain highly aesthetic appearance and maximum ventilation and air circulation, and ensure the durability of the blast resistant louvers under high blast levels.
Protection Features
- Designed to withstand blast levels reaching up to 70 Psi (reflected pressure) and 320 Psi*Msec (reflected impulse).
- Complying with GSA Level 2 rating in accordance with the American standard GSA TS01-2003

Ballistic Resistant Louvers
Bulletproof louvers are made of unique armor steel profiles that provide protection from different dirrections in accordance with European and other international standards such as EN1522 FB-7, while maintaining a highly aesthetic appearance and maximum ventilation and air circulation. Bulletproof shutters can be integrated with protection from blast, ballistic and forced-entry combined attempts.
Protection Features:
- Louvers are tested and approved according to the highest ballistic levels in accordance with American standard (NIJ 010801 up to level IV).
- European (EN-1522 up to FB7 / EN-1063 BR7) and NATO (STANAG-4569 up to level 5).

Forced Entry Resistant Louvers / Shutters
The shutters designed with consideration of maximum protection from forced entry attempts with optional reinforcement of forced entry louvers for protection from ballistic and blast / explosion threats.

- Forced entry resistance include protection from various manual and mechanical tools according to requested protection level.
