Atmas provides standard and custom designed NBC / CBRN Filtration system and CBRN filtration batteries for civil defence shelters, bunkers and protected facilities. CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) filtration systems are designed to supply breathable fresh and filtered from war and industrial chemicals, biological particles and radioactive dust air into the toxic free area of the shelter to create a safe environment for the inhabitants. Systems also create overpressure (positive differential pressure) in gastight compartments of the shelter what helps to prevent gases and other contamination entering the shelter from cracks and small openings. Filtration Batteries
Overview
Filter-banks are CBRN filtration systems which include several CBRN or CO2 filters connected into one system for providing large volume of filtered air. Such systems typically designed for specific project requirements and can combine up to 10 connected parallel filters in one system. Depending on the required air volume, various filter options can be utilized, including AFU 600, AFU 900, AFU 1200, and AFU 1800. These units are designed to provide exceptionally high air volume in both NBC filtration and ventilation modes. Their modularity allows for flexible integration, even in confined spaces such as machine rooms or toxic-free areas (TFA) within shelters.
The filter banks are customized to meet the specific requirements of the shelter, taking into account factors such as available space, air volume, occupancy levels, compliance with local or international standards, construction norms, climate conditions, shock resistance, and blast protection needs. A single shelter can be equipped with multiple filter banks to accommodate varying capacities and operational demands.
Built using certified components, these filter banks ensure safe operation and can be designed as manual, semi-automatic, or fully automated systems, with integration to Building Management Systems (BMS) and remote operation capabilities.
These systems are commonly deployed in subway stations, hospitals, underground parking facilities, tunnels, and other large-scale governmental or civil defense shelters.
